Did excellent work on two small jobs. Kenny managed to save my failing metal closets - they were leaking/molding/full of nails - and now are for the first time, functional places to hang clothing. It was not a standard job, and he did it beautifully with some creative problem solving. The front porch of our row house was rotting out - replaced it all and reinforced the supports underneath - now I have a beautiful brand new porch. He even painted my steps, which was not part of the contract. Only downside, it was expensive, but good work usually is.

We moved into our house back in April - first time home buyers. It was a fixer-upper with lots of work to be done. They made us feel so comfortable during the process of refinishing our hardwood floors and opening up the entry way from dining room to living room. They were precise, timely, and really reasonably priced! Great people! We will definitely be using their services in the future.

We worked with Hometailor for the installation of our kitchen-backsplash and to cover our kitchen-island with Travertine tiles. The excellent service of Kenny and Kristina started with them giving us very good advice and assistance when we choose our material. We were then amazed by the diligent preparation of the works, including a visit in our house. Kenny not only took the measures, but also helped to choose the best technical options for us. The execution of the work was of outstanding quality and within the given time-frame that we had scheduled with them. With Kenny doing all the works, I have never seen someone working in such a thorough and precise way, including the cleaning at the end of each day, - which was only 'topped' by his always nice and friendly ways. Combined with Kristina's very professional and quick handling of the management side, the services and works done by Home Tailor in our house have been a great and very satisfying experience for us.

We hired Home Tailor for a complete bathroom remodel. We interviewed multiple contractors and ended up choosing Kenny and Kristina for the following reasons:- Very detailed quote explaining all the things that would be done and the cost for each step.- Very responsive and hands-on guidance through the entire process.- Willingness to provide suggestions and/or alternatives- Overall friendliness and flexibility- Our dog loved Kenny from minute oneNow that the project is finished, I have the following items to add:- It is amazing how clean the rest of the house remained during the entire remodel. Kenny went to great lengths to ensure any dust remained as contained as possible.- Anybody who came into the house (plumber, electrician, etc) was professional and pleasant.- Kristina's paperwork (contract, invoices, etc) is fantastic. We were able to complete all the paperwork online and pay the invoices electronically.- Last but not least, the bathroom looks absolutely amazing.Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Definitely recommend these guys. I had some mold remediation work done a while back and needed to restore the back part of my house to its original condition. Involved some flooring, drywall, trim, paint, few other odds and ends. These folks quoted me a good price, the administrative coordination part (scheduling, billing, communication, etc) was definitely better than pretty much all contractors I've dealt with in this area, and the work was performed exceptionally well. I will definitely be using them again for future projects. It's honestly really hard to find halfway decent contractors in the DC/Baltimore region, but I think I've finally found a good one.

Knowledgable and helpful repairs. Our kitchen flooded from a broken pipe. Kenny was extremely helpful in determining a good plan for insulating the kitchen. Also, the new flooring looks great!

Kristina and Kenny at Home Tailor helped me quickly address the need for a contractor in my basement/crawl space. Within a two week window, they promptly scheduled a walk through, sent me a clear and concise contract, ordered materials and completed the work. Kenny did a great job completing the project with not a trace left behind. I would recommend Home Tailor to anyone in the Baltimore area that needs a dependable, quality contractor for their home improvement project.

Home Tailor was great to work with as we prepared our rental townhome for new tenants. Kristina responded quickly to my quote requests and questions; she made it easy to coordinate and schedule! Home Tailor provided an itemized quote, which helped us to decide which of our multiple mini-projects to pursue. Kenny and his crew completed their work on time and as promised. This work included installing new drywall on a basement wall, repairing a concrete walkway, and other minor projects. We were pleased with the results of this initial project and have already scheduled Home Tailor for work at our home in Timonium. They will be installing attic flooring, among other things, and possibly overhauling our kitchen in the future. We highly recommend Home Tailor and hope to continue calling on Kenny and Kristina as we purchase additional rental properties!

Had a kitchen project done by them recently. From start to finish they were awesome and went above and beyond. Project stayed right on schedule (in fact finished ahead of schedule) here are a few of my favorite parts of working with Home Tailor. 1 awesome estimate process (through, honest, no pressure, really transparent) 2 super responsive, I might have driven them a little crazy asking lots of questions and making some changes along the way, they were super accommodating!! And were very quick with responses (phone, email, you name it) 3 quality of work - I was super happy with the end result they for sure under promised and over delivered. I would highly recommend.

Recommended by a friend and couldn’t have been more pleased. Such a great find. They were super helpful and reliable. Very flexible and patient when we dealt with the multiple and specific HOA requests before receiving final approval. Once we got the go-ahead, the window measurement, installation and replacement process were done without delay or problems. Their communication throughout the whole process was fast. Definitely a reliable and trustworthy company. Will use again in the future.

Kenny and Kristina were wonderful to work with from the beginning to end of our project. We had our bathroom updated with new fixtures, all new tile in the shower, new floors and new base boards. We asked for a quote for all items and each thing was individualized with prices so we could pick and choose. They walked me through every step of the process and were flexible with other work that was happening in our home. Communication was clear and professional, we will definitely be working with them again for other projects around the house!

I would definitely recommend Home Tailor. Kenny recently completed a basement remodeling for me and went above and beyond my expectations. It would've been fine and acceptable for him and his team to have checked all the requirements of the job, but they took the next step and spent time making sure every detail was completed to their high standard. For example, it was discovered during the renovation that the mold had extended to a wall that was not scoped into the project. Kenny removed the affected area and added new drywall and baseboard that had not been planned. The mitering of the baseboard and quarter round itself was extremely well done and is a simple, but great, example of the high standard he imposes on himself. Lastly, he had an open-ended task to enclose a sump pit. It was expertly done - he even upgraded the wood to a very nice sheet of oak. All of these items and actions were done without adding any expense to the original quote.It's great that I have found a contractor that I can trust and will certainly go to them for any future needs.

Wonderful to work with Home Tailor for bathroom renovations. First, Kristina was very responsive in setting everything up— great communication for scheduling, estimates, e-contracts. Unlike other contractors we’ve used in the past, the target dates for scheduling and project completion were honored. The work was high quality and Kenny was a friendly person to work with. Kenny practically lived in my house for two months. What’s that mean? That means they did a massive job, that included repiping, structural engineering, new layouts, ripping out walls and laying new floors. They came in to redo an old kitchen and in the interim I would decide I wanted new windows and a wall in my TV room or can you redo my bedroom upstairs and install some faucets in the upstairs bathroom. Never an I Don’t Know, or a hesitation or where is he getting all this money from. Always on time, always professional and always thorough.Kristina on email was like SIRI. You could email her something that you weren’t sure anybody would have an answer for and she was on top of it. Phenomenal duo.Their team, top class.

Highly recommend! Very responsive and transparent throughout the process, we all know how hard that can be to come by in homeownership world. Came in under a competing company’s quote. The initial job turned out perfectly. My husband also asked for Kenny’s help on a side project he wasn’t able to figure out. Kenny was done ahead of schedule on the initial job and was able to take on that extra job and knock it out. He’s a pro. We can’t wait to work with them again!

Our 90-year-old house had failing plaster on the ceilings and the previous owner installed drywall over it. The drywall and plaster had since started to crack and looked like it could fall and hurt someone. We worked with Home Tailor to remove all the old drywall and plaster and make sure that the repairs were done right. Their quote wasn't the cheapest, but after seeing their attention to detail and the care that went into making sure that things were done properly we feel like we got good value for our money. We'll be going with Home Tailor next time we need work done.

Kenny came out to give us an estimate on a DIY gone wrong. He was responsive, punctual and clearly laid out the options for fixing the problem. I really appreciated how he provided a couple of solutions and took the time to explain why our DIY shower bench failed. He didn’t scare us off of DIY in the future but sure helped us understand where we should bring in help. And let me tell you, shower benches and custom baths is one place you should bring in a pro like Kenny. Super easy to communicate with. We highly recommend.
